It's going to be ok! This too shall pass and blossom into a beautiful little girl. You have my love and prayers. There is another Just Between Friends sale in Overland Park in 2 weeks. I'll check that one too for a glider set.

We have had a sweet brown dog living on our porch this week and this morning I was able to contact its owner. YEAH!! Hopefully they still want him!

Hello there, friend! My name is Lisa, I'm a wife and a mommy, a daughter and a sister, a friend. I'm silly and sarcastic, contemplative, sensitive and creative.

I love making and appreciating beautiful things, hunting and enjoying else-loved treasures, laughing with friends and eating sweet things. I love the country and think I was probably born in the wrong era. I am a sucker for vintage, dresses and anything European, like tea. Especially tea.

I've also lived in the third world, can't throw a water bottle away (or anything for that matter) without thinking about where it will go and my part in caring for the world.

I started this blog to update supporters on a European volunteer journey I took 10 years ago and it's morphed into stories and DIY with a smattering of vintage and handmade. I write about whatever is me (piano teacher, mommy, sign-maker) for the moment.
