It really has been crazy around here. But, I did manage to sneak on a few more items for the shop before Christmas. Who knows? Maybe I'll get a sale!

I promise, I will be back after the new year. But taking a break really has relieved some of the pressure I put on myself. My arsenal is getting fuller ... watch out! Pictures of the tiny girl ready to overwhelm you!

Hello there, friend! My name is Lisa, I'm a wife and a mommy, a daughter and a sister, a friend. I'm silly and sarcastic, contemplative, sensitive and creative.

I love making and appreciating beautiful things, hunting and enjoying else-loved treasures, laughing with friends and eating sweet things. I love the country and think I was probably born in the wrong era. I am a sucker for vintage, dresses and anything European, like tea. Especially tea.

I've also lived in the third world, can't throw a water bottle away (or anything for that matter) without thinking about where it will go and my part in caring for the world.

I started this blog to update supporters on a European volunteer journey I took 10 years ago and it's morphed into stories and DIY with a smattering of vintage and handmade. I write about whatever is me (piano teacher, mommy, sign-maker) for the moment.
