Like my new purse for spring?! I'm a little scared of the white with a 2-year old, but I went ahead and splurged anyway.

It was for a great cause - supporting my friend, Sharla, and her Etsy shop, doodad, based in Switzerland!

I actually ordered the purse (below) first for a friend and, since it was shipping internationally, I knew I wanted to get something for myself too while I was at it.

Isn't her Jenny bag cute?

Hello there, friend! My name is Lisa, I'm a wife and a mommy, a daughter and a sister, a friend. I'm silly and sarcastic, contemplative, sensitive and creative.

I love making and appreciating beautiful things, hunting and enjoying else-loved treasures, laughing with friends and eating sweet things. I love the country and think I was probably born in the wrong era. I am a sucker for vintage, dresses and anything European, like tea. Especially tea.

I've also lived in the third world, can't throw a water bottle away (or anything for that matter) without thinking about where it will go and my part in caring for the world.

I started this blog to update supporters on a European volunteer journey I took 10 years ago and it's morphed into stories and DIY with a smattering of vintage and handmade. I write about whatever is me (piano teacher, mommy, sign-maker) for the moment.
